The Largest Order Fulfillment Project in Antumo's History

Thousands of devices, dozens of locations, and a very tight turnaround time. This was Antumo’s largest order fulfillment project to date.

The project was carried out in collaboration with Axians. As the main subcontractor, Antumo was responsible for preparing over 14,000 mobile terminals and over 10,100 docking stations. The equipment had to be properly labeled, assembled, prepared for shipment, and delivered to 22 locations throughout Poland. The entire process was completed in 6 days.

In addition, the company supplied 14,000 licenses for Antumo MDM and provides support for the delivered solution. The project also includes a device maintenance service.

Project Scope

Deploying mobile devices in large organizations requires more than just delivering the devices. It is equally important to prepare them in advance, label them properly, assign them to the appropriate kits, and ensure efficient logistics.

Project scope:

  • over 14,000 mobile terminals,
  • over 10,100 docking stations,
  • transport to 22 locations throughout Poland,
  • completed in 6 days.

Such a project required good organization, precise planning, and control over every stage of the process.

The challenge: how to prepare thousands of devices in a short time?

The biggest challenge was coordinating multiple activities simultaneously. Each device had to be prepared according to the client’s requirements, properly labeled, and assigned to a set.
In practice, this meant integrating several areas: order fulfillment, labeling, package preparation, and transportation logistics.

With thousands of devices, even a minor error during the preparation stage can affect the rest of the deployment. That is why it was crucial to maintain a consistent process and full control over the flow of equipment.

Antumo's Role in the Project

Antumo was responsible for the comprehensive preparation of the equipment for deployment. The scope of work included, among other things:

  • equipment assembly,
  • device labeling,
  • branding and visual customization,
  • kit preparation,
  • organization of dedicated transportation.

As a result, the client received equipment prepared in accordance with the agreed-upon requirements and ready for further use in its operational processes.

Benefits for the client

The kitting service significantly simplifies the deployment of equipment within the organization. The client does not have to involve its own teams in activities related to the preparation, labeling, packaging, or logistics of the devices.

The key benefits are:

  • devices ready for use upon delivery,
  • shorter deployment time,
  • consistent preparation of all sets,
  • reduced workload for the client’s teams,
  • logistics, import, and paperwork handled by Antumo.

With large projects, it’s not just the number of devices delivered that matters. It’s also important that the entire process is well-planned and efficiently coordinated.

“With thousands of devices and multiple locations, it was crucial for us that the entire process was well-planned and efficiently coordinated,” says Łukasz Ławniczak, head of the Service Center at Antumo.
